What we collect,
and why.

What we collect when you join the waitlist
The form asks for your first name and your email address. If you arrived through a member's personal link, the code in that link is saved with your signup so that member gets credit for the referral.
Each signup also creates a personal referral code of its own, so you can invite others.
What we receive automatically
When you sign up, our server also sees technical details of the request: your IP address, an approximate location derived from it by Cloudflare (city, region and country), your browser type, the page you signed up from, the page you first landed on, the site that sent you to us, any campaign tags in the link, how many pages you viewed and how long you had been on the site.
These details go into the notification email our team receives. We use them to spot spam signups and to see which channels bring people to the site. They are not stored in the waitlist database.
Where it is stored
The waitlist is stored on Cloudflare, in a database that runs inside the same system that serves this site. The stored record is your first name, email address, referral code, the code that referred you, and the time you joined.
Emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service, which processes the content of each message in order to deliver it.
The emails we send
You get one welcome email right after you join, and after that only updates about real steps in the project. We do not sell the list and we do not share it with anyone outside the team and the services named on this page.
To stop receiving emails, reply to any of them or write to the address below. We remove you from the list.
Referral links and the live count
If you use your personal link, the site can show you your position on the list and how many people joined through you. Nobody else can see your name or email address through a referral link.
Analytics
On the live site we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics counts visits and the actions taken on the site. Clarity records how pages are used, such as scrolling and clicks, so we can see where a page is confusing. Both set cookies. Google Analytics runs with advertising features turned off. Neither runs on preview or development versions of the site.
You can block these with your browser settings or a content blocker, and the site works the same without them.
What the site keeps in your browser
For the length of one visit, the site remembers the first page you opened, the site that sent you, any campaign tags, and how many pages you read, so that a signup can tell us how you found us. This is cleared when you close the tab.
If you open a member's referral link, the code is kept in your browser for 30 days so a later signup still credits that member. After you join, the site also remembers that you joined, so it stops asking.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We delete the record from the waitlist and remove the notification emails. Write to the address below and we will confirm when it is done.
Changes
When something on this page changes, we update the text and the date at the top.
